Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MA), Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)

Heidi welcomes you exactly as you are, right now. Whether you are feeling hurt, grieving, navigating trauma, or simply living in a way that doesn’t feel aligned, she offers a space of warmth and acceptance. If it’s difficult to put your experience into words, that’s okay—Heidi believes in moving at your pace, together. Even if your struggles feel small or hard to name, she holds them with care and compassion. What you are experiencing matters.
As a counsellor, Heidi sees her role as walking alongside you as you come to know yourself more deeply. Through that process, you can build stronger, more authentic relationships—with yourself and with others—and move toward a life that feels true to who you are.
Heidi’s approach is deeply person-centered. She believes in your inherent worth and your natural capacity for growth and healing. She trusts in your ability to access your inner wisdom and supports you in connecting to that knowing.
In session, therapy with Heidi feels like a warm, supportive conversation centered around who you are and what you need. She helps clients identify core needs and values, connect with emotional depth through experiential focusing (“felt-sensing”), and explore “conditions of worth”—the internalized beliefs that shape how we see ourselves and determine what we think makes us lovable or worthy.
Heidi is currently accepting virtual clients for daytime sessions
A bit about Heidi
Heidi is a virtual practitioner with Branches, living in beautiful Maple Ridge, BC. Her greatest passions include her work, her family, and her deep connection with nature. When she’s not busy parenting her four children, who range in age from 7 to 15, or tending to her beloved pets and farm animals, you’ll often find her exploring the forest alone or with friends — foraging for mushrooms, plunging into hidden pools and lakes, or simply taking in the breathtaking views.
As a child and adolescent, Heidi experienced poverty, divorce, and chronic relational and environmental trauma. Her life has been an ongoing journey of healing, growth, and recovery. Now, in her early 40s, she finds hope and meaning in creating deep connections with herself and others and feels great satisfaction in helping others discover meaning and connection in their own lives.
“Am I living in a way which is deeply satisfying to me, and which truly expresses me?”
― Carl Rogers
