B.Ed., Masters of Counselling Psychology, RCC, Meditation Facilitator

Being human is hard sometimes.

We all face challenges—relationships, grief and loss, stress, burnout, trauma, emotional pain, and life transitions like perimenopause, empty nest, and retirement. No one has to navigate these moments alone. Vicki offers compassionate support through life’s most difficult experiences.

Vicki believes that everyone deserves to live a full, joyful life. With a warm, trauma-informed presence, she creates a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and deeply valued.

Her approach is rooted in person-centred and humanistic therapy, providing a non-judgemental environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and true selves. Vicki also draws on mindfulness practices in her work, trusting that stillness often holds the answers we seek.

As a trained meditation facilitator, Vicki helps clients reconnect with their inner wisdom and navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, peace, and resilience.

Everyone deserves to feel good.

Reaching out is the biggest step—and Vicki is here to walk alongside you.

A bit about Vicki

Vicki loves skiing with her family, taking peaceful walks with her husband, and curling up with a good book, a warm cup of tea, and her dog Nala by her side. In addition to her husband, she is deeply grateful for her adult son and daughter, and her beautiful sisters — all of whom are her biggest supporters. When she’s not working with clients, she’s likely spending time with any of them!

Vicki has a deep passion for helping individuals build insight, skills, and resilience so they can move toward lives that are more meaningful and fulfilling. With 26 years of experience working in education, and 10 years of specialized experience supporting youth and families navigating neurodiversities such as ADHD, Autism, Pathological Demand Avoidance, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder, she brings both expertise and compassion to her work.

Vicki understands the challenges that come with anxiety and burnout, having faced them personally. As a teacher, she experienced significant burnout that impacted her life deeply. Through her own therapeutic journey, she developed new ways of thinking and being. Vicki has incorporated mindfulness into her life to enrich her experiences and, as a trained meditation facilitator, she empowers clients to become more mindful of their present experiences in both body and mind as a way to navigate difficult emotions. She also offers a 6-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course designed to help individuals gain insight, build skills, and cultivate resilience to live more meaningful, fulfilling lives. Mindfulness and meditation are central components of her work with clients.

Nala, VIcki’s hypoallergenic Morky, is a regular visitor to Branches and can be present for your counselling session at your request.
