Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)

I believe every person can benefit from counselling. It’s a valuable experience for addressing everyday stress and anxiety, relationship issues, school or career transitions, personal growth, and more. I can support you with managing emotions, coping with change or loss, improving relationships, and better understanding yourself and how you want to make the most of your life. I provide a space where you feel heard, valued, and safe to explore your concerns with curiosity and compassion – offering supportive care and tools to help you enhance your overall well-being and navigate life’s ups and downs.
My practice is grounded in trauma-informed, person-centered care that draws on various therapeutic modalities to create an experience that is right for you. I focus on building strong therapeutic relationships rooted in warmth, non-judgement and trust. Because at the heart of the matter, therapy is two humans sitting across from each other connecting in a meaningful way – and that can make all the difference.
You don’t have to do this alone – nor were you meant to. Reach out when you’re ready – I’m here to support you.
A bit about me!
I’m a lover of books, board games, and banana bread. Most of my time is spent enjoying moments with my husband, our fun-loving toddler and boxer puppy – and I’m eternally grateful for morning sleep-ins that come with grandparent visits. In spare moments, you’ll find me drawing, learning something new, dabbling in website design, dreaming up children’s book ideas, watching stand-up, or hiking amongst the trees with deep respect for the land and its peoples.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for supporting people and leaving things better than how I find them. This has led me to various helping professions over the last eight years, working in specialized wellness advisory, health promotion, and counselling roles providing one-on-one and group facilitation support to individuals of all ages and backgrounds in post-secondary, non-profit, private practice, and child and youth mental health settings.
I’m a recovering perfectionist who places value on progress over perfection, rest over burnout, self-compassion over criticism, and inner wisdom over ‘shoulds’ and ‘supposed tos’ – and I love helping others do the same.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
― Carl Rogers
